Karol (“Karl”) S. Furmaga assists clients in the litigation of matters involving personal injury, insurance defense, and business and commercial disputes in both state and federal court. Mr. Furmaga also handles cases involving the Texas Workers Compensation Act, providing claim defense on the administrative and court level.
Mr. Furmaga is a passionate litigator and an active member of the Texas bar. He has co-authored several legal articles and is involved with a number of legal organizations. While in law school, Mr. Furmaga was awarded the LEX Legal Research and Writing Award and served as Submissions Editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. He was also a member of the Blakely Institute Moot Court Team and the President of the University of Houston’s Federalist Society student chapter.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Furmaga is a United States Professional Tennis Association certified coach as well as a United States Professional Tennis Association committee member. He was an active junior player and team member at Williams College and continues to play recreationally.
