Javier Gonzalez was appointed as an Associate Municipal Judge for the Harlingen Municipality of Cameron County, Texas.

Brownsville lawyer Javier Gonzalez was appointed as an Associate Municipal Judge for the Harlingen Municipality of Cameron County, Texas on August 12, 2010 and will serve a two (2) year renewable term as such.

Mr. Gonzalez currently is a partner with the law firm of Royston, Rayzor, Vickery & Williams, L.L.P., and his practice now focuses on civil litigation, premise defect, transportation, shipyard liability, maritime and non-maritime personal injury and commercial litigation. Mr. Gonzalez also counsels banks and businesses regarding commercial transactions, lender liability, probate, real estate and business organizations. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BBA in Finance and is also a graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law of Texas Southern University. Mr. Gonzalez is the recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award; Who’s Who Among American Law Students; Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges; and Outstanding College Students of America. He currently provides his services as a board member for the Brownsville Children’s Museum as well.
