Royston's Miller named to State Bar's court rules committee

Brian Miller has been appointed to a three-year term on the State Bar of Texas’ Standing Committee on Court Rules.  Miller, 38, is of counsel to the Corpus Christi, Texas, office of Royston Rayzor Vickery & Williams L.L.P.

The Court Rules Committee is focused on improving the procedural rules used in civil suits in the state’s courts. The Court Rules Committee considers the effect of existing rules and, when appropriate, proposes new rules for consideration by the Texas Supreme Court.

Miller is board-certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and was selected for inclusion in the 2011 Texas Rising Stars edition of Super Lawyers magazine.
