Javier González

Mr. González is a trial lawyer with a trial-oriented practice.  His trial experience began in the Cameron County District Attorney's Office in 1993, where he was a First Chair Felony Prosecutor, successfully prosecuting to verdict criminal cases ranging from simple assault to capital murder.  He continues to actively try civil cases to verdict.  

Mr. González's practice now focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on general liability and commercial claims although he does handle white-collar criminal cases.  His civil trial practice includes cases involving product liability, premise defect, transportation, shipyard liability, maritime and non-maritime personal injury, mass tort, construction defect, employment, and commercial litigation.  

Mr. González also counsels businesses and banks regarding commercial transactions and business organizations and creation.
