Mr. Herrero is a senior associate in the civil litigation section. He focuses his litigation practice in the areas of construction defects, trucking accidents, products liability, premises liability and other personal injury related cases. Mr. Herrero’s practice also includes governmental law, labor and employment trial practice, general civil and maritime litigation, and general civil litigation in both state and federal jurisdictions. He also handles transactional matters on a case-by-case basis.
Mr. Herrero served in the Texas House of Representatives, District 34, from 2005 – 2011. While in the Texas House, Mr. Herrero served as Vice-Chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee and was named Chairman of the Integrated Eligibility and TIERS Subcommittee. In his tenure as a state representative, Mr. Herrero also served on the Appropriations Committee, Redistricting Committee, Agriculture and Livestock Committee, and the Defense Affairs and State-Federal Relations Committees. He also served on the Robstown City Council from 1999 – 2003.
Mr. Herrero is currently a member of the Corpus Christi Bar Association. He has previously served on the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority Board, Coastal Bend Council of Governments, Nueces County Parks Board, Nueces County Civil Service Board, and the Robstown Improvement Development Corporation.
