Ralph F. Meyer

Mr. Meyer has twenty nine years of experience in civil litigation and appellate work with the last twenty one years in Corpus Christi and South Texas.  He has extensive first chair trial experience and litigation representation experience in the following areas: maritime claims, personal injury defense, general liability defense, products liability, employment-related claims, and insurance representation.  Mr. Meyer has been selected for the 2003-2004 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, for maritime law.

Mr. Meyer's first chair jury trial experience includes the following: (1) successful representation of maritime clients in both Federal and State courts in Jones Act litigation; (2) successful representation of product manufacturers and their insurers in both State and Federal courts in products liability actions; (3) successful representation of refineries and other interests in general liability, toxic tort, and personal injury defense in both State and Federal courts; (4) successful representation of defendants in employment-related claims including race and age discrimination; (5) Multiple representation of insurers and insureds in various types of litigation, both in State and Federal courts, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, bad faith insurance defense, and workers' compensation.
