Valuary (“Val”) was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and later a master’s degree in Literature and Cultural Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
With nearly a decade of experience as a paralegal, Val has developed extensive knowledge in personal injury, immigration law, and civil litigation. As a native Spanish speaker, Val has been able to serve Spanish-speaking clients with compassion and skill. In 2019, Val joined the Rio Grande Valley offices of Royston, Rayzor, Vickery & Williams, where her work inspired her to pursue a Juris Doctor in 2023. She then transferred to the firm’s Houston office to attend South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Val continued working primarily full time, balancing her professional responsibilities with her legal studies.
After graduating from South Texas College of Law in 2025, Val was pleased to return to her roots in the Rio Grande Valley, where she now resides in Los Fresnos, Texas.
