Shauna A. Lozano focuses her practice on civil litigation, with an emphasis on defending clients in personal injury matters, including transportation and trucking accidents, premises liability, and products liability cases. She also represents clients in governmental law, employment law, and other civil matters. Known for her thorough preparation and strategic advocacy, Mrs. Lozano works closely with her clients to understand their goals, develop practical litigation strategies, and pursue favorable results.

A California native, Mrs. Lozano earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, a Jesuit institution in the heart of Silicon Valley. During law school, she received the Justice John Paul Stevens Public Interest Fellowship and earned a Social Justice Certificate, reflecting a commitment to service and justice that continues to shape her legal practice today: Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.

In 2026, Texas Women Lawyers honored Mrs. Lozano with the Brenda Tso Rising Young Lawyer Award, which recognizes a young lawyer who demonstrates excellence and a commitment to advancing women’s issues in the law and the legal profession. She now serves on the Texas Women Lawyers Board of Directors as Vice President.

Mrs. Lozano remains actively involved in the legal profession and her community. She is a member of the Texas Bar College, a professional society recognizing Texas attorneys who demonstrate a substantial commitment to continuing legal education and professional excellence. She also serves on the DRI Litigation Skills Committee, is an active member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and is an elected Director of the Cameron County Bar Association. In addition, she serves on the board of Proyecto Juan Diego, a Brownsville nonprofit organization, and previously held leadership roles with the Junior League of Harlingen from 2018 through 2024. She resides in Harlingen with her husband and son.
