Profile

Mr. Dennis’ practice is focused primarily on admiralty and maritime law, insurance defense, and business, consumer and commercial law and litigation both in the State of Texas and United States District Court forums. He has also defended various businesses and individuals in construction defect, trucking, product liability, premises liability, and personal injury-related cases. 

Aside from his trial practice, Mr. Dennis handles numerous cases resolved by alternative dispute resolution and negotiated settlement before trial. These cases concern a wide array of civil litigation matters, including catastrophic oil field accidents, wrongful death and personal injury cases involving trucking, vehicular and workplace accidents, product liability claims, and various maritime matters.

In addition, Mr. Dennis represents businesses and individuals presenting claims and handles transactional matters on a case-by-case basis. These matters have involved and included Oil Field Indemnity and Master Service Contract review, revision and negotiation, commercial real estate matters involving landlord and tenant issues, franchisee and franchisor contracts and negotiation, and matters related to homeowners associations.

Mr. Dennis has been AV-rated by Martindale Hubble. He is active in his community and is a member of First United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi. Before practicing law, Mr. Dennis earned degrees in Physical Education and Sports Medicine, and he maintains a number of sports-related hobbies. These days, he still possesses the hard work and diligence of an athlete, and routinely applies those qualities to the pursuit of justice.
